I gave it only three (3) stars even though I have used the product for decades. 1> Windows 10 keeps repeating an advertisement to ‘upgrade’ to Office 365. 2> It does not allow you to publish e-books like. 3> Some features, like the theme options, are only available for a while and then disappear. 4> It does not have a usable feature to expose the formatting codes. 5> You have to disable some of the “Cloud” features or they keep notifying you that you need lo logon. 6> Microsoft would like nothing better than to have everyone one buy MS Office via Office 365.

I am not going to review MS Office. Most know what it is, does, etc. My review will be for the activation card, that I received, and the upgrade process. Received the activation card from keyforrest. Went onlline and created an account with Microsoft in order to download the software.Removed my really old version of Office after savings my contacts, and PST files. Logged onto Microsoft, download and installed the new Office 2019. Went into the new Office expecting to have to re-install my contacts, but they were already there. Linked the new Office to my PST folders so I could keep all of my old e-mails. Up until this point, I have not had one issue with the new Office. So, at this point, I am highly satisfied with the new Office.

keyforrest did their job well; BUT:MS Office is very good except for Outlook which I would rate as “pain in the ass to set up”.The password requirements are confusing and rife with “gotcha” traps.The transfer of contacts from Outlook 2010 to 2019 is awkward and full of traps.The transfer of emails from Outlook 2010 to 2019 is not too bad but not good enough considering its a Microsoft product.

Works well when correctly installed, which can be a challenge if you are using a single-user, stand-alone license. But if you want that stand-alone license, please be aware that there are precious few changes as compared to Office 2016. Therefore, I regard a stand-alone license a waste of money if one’s intent is to upgrade from Office 2016 to Office 2019.I served two decades as an IT manager, and am hard-pressed to recall any set of installation instructions that is so inadequate. When I exactly followed the instructions: (1) Office 2019 seemed to be confused—it thought it was Office 365 using Exchange Server. Microsoft could have parameterized the choice of Office 2019 or Office 365, but that would have required a little pocket change to write the necessary code. (2) Once installed, when I tried to launch Outlook, I was prompted for a “password”—the prompt didn’t say WHICH password. After trying my email server password several times, out of desperation I entered the Microsoft Store password. Bingo! (3) It would not recognize my Outlook files, no matter how many tricks I tried.So, I called Microsoft Support and was connected to a fairly understandable, very adept and knowledgeable tech in the Philippines. She explained that one must first uninstall Office 2016. This is not in the instructions, and is inconsistent with Microsoft’s recent practice of allowing an upgrade to be installed “over” the previous version, thus saving all settings. It meant that I later had to rebuild Quick Access Toolbar in Word, and probably will encounter other situations needing corrective work. Then, after installation, one must UNinstall Office 365, which the installation process automatically installs next to Office 2019 in the same folder. (Also not in the instructions.) She patiently and efficiently handled the installation, the support call lasting 55 minutes.If Microsoft’s intent is to show users that it is phasing out the stand-alone, offline license and doesn’t care about Q/A of Office 2019, message received! Unfortunately, such situations create understandable confusion and frustration among customers, a mess that falls to Microsoft Support to clean up.LibreOffice, freeware that I’ve used on other machines, is looking more and more attractive. Not quite as fully functional, but always installs seamlessly.

I was going to buy this from Microsoft.com but it was £25 more expensive than this one (£220 at the time that I purchased it from keyforrest). I web chatted with Microsoft and asked them if the link on here was a genuine one as I couldn’t understand why they would have a storefront on keyforrest with different pricing. They said i was ok to buy this. (???)When this arrived it’s just a small box with a product key and instructions on how to log into your Microsoft account and download Office (in my case – Home and Business). Took best part of an hour to download and a couple of times I thought it had stopped as the on screen messages were not always popped up.But it updated smoothly and overwrote my Office 2016 (client side installation) with no prompting, no fuss and no reboot. Nice.From a features perspective – not sure (yet) that there is anything of interest to me in here. I LIKE my Office / Outlook products / documents to be saved to my PC (I know, I’m old school).I do have Office 365 but hate it as there are some things it cannot do (example – you can’t open a password protected file, for example – unless it’s changed recently) and, as with everything else in the IT world, leaving things that work alone is not an option and so things periodically get “improved” – which usually means they have been moved somewhere that you cannot remember and take more clicks than before.Otherwise – I only bought it because 2016 client was out of support.

I got an error message when trying to install so I called the support number given. Tech support said my software and drivers were not the latest versions. After 45 minutes they offered to update my drives and install software to protect my computer for the low price of $199. I hung up. I then read the reviews about uninstalling my old version of office before installing the updated version. ( this is not in the installation instructions.) Once I did this it installed without any problems.

I upgraded my MS Office 2007 to this one and was surprised at how easy it was. You have to uninstall your old Office first, which I was reluctant to do because I have a lot of contact and email archives in my Outlook 2007. But I did uninstall it after backing up my email data just in case. I installed MS Office 2019 and when I loaded Outlook 2019, I was pleasantly surprised to see all of my contacts were still there and all three email accounts were there as well. No setup required. Excel and Word function as before.

オフィスソフトは事実上マイクロソフトの独占分野であり値段も言いなりなのが釈然としないが、ワードとエクセルとパワーポイントの最新版が2台のコンピューターで数年使えると考えれば法外に高価とまでは言えない。長年2010バージョンを使ってきたがさすがに年貢の納め時で本製品を購入した。アマゾンならMicrosoftストアよりは安価で購入できる。カード版で頼んだが、うっかりすると間違えて捨ててしまいそうな小さな厚紙が1枚届いた。シリアルはカード裏面下方に書かれておりフィルムで保護されている。使用するときにコインで剥がす仕組みだ。ソフトはダウンロードして使うわけだが、最初どこに行けばよいのかわからず戸惑う。よくよく確認すれば紙面裏の左上に小さくURLが書かれている。ここにアクセスしてMicrosoftアカウントでログインし（持っていなければ新規登録する）、本ソフトをシリアルと共に登録すればインストールが可能となる。アカウントの画面の指示に従うだけで良いので難しくはない。インストール後にオフィスソフトのどれかを起動してホーム画面左下のアカウントをクリックし、製品情報のところにあるボタンを操作するとオンライン認証されてアクティベートされる。なお2台目にインストールするときも手順は同じである。2台目のインストールがうまくいかないというレビューもあるようだが、私は問題なくできた。当然だがMicosoftアカウントは同じものを使う必要がある。

Highly frustrating. The installation was not as easy as the instructions made it appear in that, when you think that you have installed it, you haven’t. Then after it was finally installed, only Word, Excel and Outlook were installed. No PowerPoint was installed. We finally found the PowerPoint. Calling support was another joke. I have yet to receive assistance. I got one person who said that she was for South America and she transferred me to another department, twice. I was on hold for around 20 mins each time before I hung up. When I open Word, it is requiring “activation”, which is like a circus, requiring passwords but then a PIN, which I have not previously been asked to set. Very frustrating and time consuming, to no avail! Then you need to further an e-mail address, or receive on from Outlook, then if you get one from Outlook, you can’t use it, you have to use another e-mail, then they have to send you a code and the procedure goes on and on! I get the code, put it in, then I receive a message “We couldn’t activate Office. We didn’t find any Office products for this account”. So in the end, still no use of the Office Product and no assistance. Oh, and I won’t be able to use Office after tomorrow.

以前は自己所有PCにProfessional版を利用してましたが、その必要性も無くなったことから、こちらを利用しています。フリーランスや個人で販売など行う事業者でしたら、Office365の方を勧められる広告や記事も見られましたが、365にはメール関連の問題が散見される。安定して利用するには、結局のところスタンドアローンへ行きつくと言うものなのでしょう。収入印紙簡略目的の領収書電子化には、電子屋号印を外注依頼せずにExcelを使い作成できますし、機能は充分と思われます。OS環境について、私はWindows１０の利用なので、以前のOSによる動作状況は分かりません。

新しく購入したWindows10 PCのために入手しました。サブスクリプションが嫌で一度入れたら10年くらい使いたかったので。Office2010はDVDメディア入りパッケージ、Office2013は紙のボックスに入ったカード、Office2019は紙のスクラッチカードと時代の流れを感じます。既に2台のWindowsPC(Windows7とWindows8からWindows10にバージョンアップ)にインストールしたOffice2013のライセンスを使いまわす方法をしらべたり設定したりするのが面倒だったのが大きいです。あと予備にとってある古いOffice2010を新しいPCにインストールするのもなんだしOfficeがはいっていないMacBookもあるというわけで。毎度上手くいかないじゃないかというどきどきの不安はよそに結論としてはMicrosoftのアカウントとプロダクトキーがあれば1分くらいでWindowsPCはインストール終了。MacBookの方はMicrosoftのアカウントだけでインストールができました。どうやら今の時代はMicrosoftのアカウントの方が重要なんだと後からMicrosoftのサイトを見てわかりました。

コード版を買ったら、メールでコードが届いた。この場合、買ったPCのメアドに紐付きされていて、他のPCにダウンロードするのに四苦八苦する羽目になった。ところで、どうして２ライセンスなのだろう？ １ライセンスで半額にして欲しい。

説明のA4のプリントが数枚送られてきました。割と丁寧に書いてあります。ただ認証のためのサイトに行って（多分）プロダクトキーを入力したら、他のサイトの可能性を示唆されました。そこでそのページへ行って入力したらまた他のページを示唆されましたが、それは1度目のページでした。くじけそうになりましたが最初のページで再度入力したらうまく行きました。お手頃に入手できて本当にありがたいです。まだワードもエクセルも使っていませんが、おかしなことがあったらまたここに書きます。

2013のHome & Business以来の購入です。使用するのはほぼExcelのみなので、Excel2019単体の方がずっと安いのですが、メールでパワポやワードも送られてくるので、一応Home & Businessにしました。2013(2007以降は)を使用していれば違和感はありません。2000や2003の全画面プレビューが消えたのは残念ですが、仕方ありません。（正確には消えてはいないが、図形の書式設定のバグ付きで存在しています）Officeは少しずつ高価になりますが、これも仕方ないと思います。Officeを使わない仕事は無い(IT系で)ので、今後もバージョンアップ毎に2周(2バージョン)遅れ辺りで購入していくのだと思います。

Have been using Microsoft Office for 30 years. This has to be the most frustrating, annoying and counter-productive version. It’s the last version that has a 1 time payment. Microsoft encouraging users to switch to 365 with annual fee from now on. Previous versions of office had Word, Excel etc. as separate programs. Now it is bundled as Office and you have to click on the Office icon and then select Word, Excel or others. Unnecessary extra mouse clicks. Took a few days research online and trial & error to place Excel icon on my Taskbar. Likewise with Word, however, Word would not allow me to open a blank document unless I’m online. I could open existing documents without internet connection. No problem with Excel. Can’t figure it out. Totally puzzled.Files are saved to OneDrive by default. Took me hours to figure out how to change it to save to a folder I specified. It’s not obvious in the menu structure.Was using Live Mail from Windows 7 and it was intuitive. Now that I have a new laptop with Win 10, have to transition to Outlook. MS added many options/features that make reading email a lot more difficult and confusing. Hate the multiple lines of Subject, Sender and 1st line of the message. I can’t see all the emails that came in without scrolling down. I read emails from known senders and ignore the rest. Took hours of research to change it to the 1 line format of Live Mail.The last straw was when Outlook deleted my older emails on the server. I have several email accounts and one of them is on POP3 server. Outlook switched it to IMAP without notifying me of the consequences. I don’t want my email to be synched across all devices. I have a computer dedicated to saving 3 years worth of emails so I can look up past records as necessary. I have abandoned Outlook and switched to Thunderbird which is free, however I don’t mind sending them a donation for their efforts and for saving the hair on my head.Now looking to abandon MS Office altogether. Time to jump ship! SoftMaker Office and Libra Office are excellent alternatives that read and save documents to docx & xlsx format. Just have to spend some time familiarizing the different menu structure. Softmaker’s paid version (there’s a free version with some features disabled) has a user customizable menu so you can place your most frequently used features in positions convenient to you.Goodbye Microsoft. If there’s a viable alternative to Windows 10 I would abandon it in a heartbeat.

keyforrestさんには決心が鈍るくらいの価格設定のOffice製品が数多く有りますが、正規品はコレ一択となっています。エクセル、ワード、アウトルックに加えてパワーポイントがセット品として入っています。自分が惹かれたのはwindows PC1台とMac1台にそれぞれインストールが出来るという点です。今後はOffice 365が主流になるそうです。永続ライセンス版は2019版が最後になると言われています。

This product is so easy to install. I love MS Office. Had a professional edition but decided to buy this one for my new computer. Works just as well. I bought this edition for me and a Home and Student for my daughter who has my old computer for school. Computer specialist migrated my info no she has a brand new working computer with office for her different projects. These programs are simply the best. Would buy again.

OfficeのHome &Businessを買いました。オンラインコードでさっとインストールまでやってしまおうと思っていたんですが、カードの方がなぜか少し安い。値段で約300円、おまけにアマゾンポイントも340円分付いてくるから、合計600円以上安い。その分、カードの到着まで2日待ったけど、まあそのくらいならね。インストールもスムースに2台完了したので、文句なし。

マイクロソフトのWEBは2019のDL先は、わかりにくいですコード入力してもエラー出ますが、電話承認で使用可能です
