I’m not very good when it comes to computers unfortunately. I tried multiple times with customer support to get help and couldn’t get the help I was looking for. The download never could finish the process and couldn’t get it to work. I purchased this to add Office to my laptop but didn’t realize I needed Windows 10 in order for it to run. I was told by a computer tech that I probably needed to upgrade to Windows 10 as some newer software doesn’t support Windows 7. keyforrestのサイトを見ているとWindows10 Homeについてはこの「Microsoft Windows 10 Home Anniversary Update適用版 32bit/64bit 日本語版 (最新)|USBフラッシュドライブ」と「Microsoft Windows 10 Home 32bit/64bit 日本語版 (旧商品) USBフラッシュドライブ」と言うものがあります。実はこの二つはパッケージがすっかり同じで、ぱっと見たところではどちらが古いものか新しいものか分かりません。Anniversary Update適用版のパッケージにもその旨が一切記載がありません。プロダクトキーの書いてあるカードにも一切判別できるような記載はありません。ですからkeyforrestで最新版を注文しても本当に最新版が来たのかはパッケージを見ただけでは分かりません。この点をMicrosoftに聞いたところパッケージ底面に書いてある製品型番を示す記号で判断できると言うことで、Homeエディションの場合は「SKU-KW9-00443」と記載があればAnniversary Update適用版だと言うことです。ただし、他のエディションやMicrosoftストアから購入するとこの型版は違うようですので自分の手元にあるWindows10がAnniversary Update適用版かどうか不安な方はMicrosoftに電話(0120-54-2244)をして確認をした方が良いです。ちなみに私のは問題なくAnniversary Update適用版でした。また、この2つにはそれぞれプロダクトキーが付属しますが、旧商品のプロダクトキーは旧商品専用、Anniversary Update適用版のプロダクトキーはAnniversary Update適用版専用となっていて、間違ってAnniversary Update適用版に旧商品のプロダクトキーを入力すると認証が通らないそうです。以上、皆様の参考になれば幸いです。

The Windows 10 key came almost instantly after I placed my order. I already have Linux Mint on my PC, but not sure if I’m going to stick with it long term (I’ve been getting by with it for a few months, with issues) and wanted Windows 10, so I shelled out for a Windows 10 Home license key.The license key keyforrest sent me failed to activate, but that may be because I was trying to install Windows 10 in a Virtualbox within my Linux Mint installation. I was futzing around with devices, etc. when setting up the Virtualbox. I eventually decided to just install it to its own partition and dual boot it, and the license key *still* would not activate. I had to call the Microsoft activation line to get it to activate.Lessons learned:- You must use the official Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to write the Windows 10 .iso to a USB thumb drive. Don’t try to create it in Linux using a Linux tool… the USB drive won’t boot. I also tried burning the .iso to an old blank DVD-R… it booted once, but was very slow– If your Linux Mint system partition is on a different physical drive than the drive you are installing Windows 10 to, you must unplug the Linux Mint drive, otherwise the Windows 10 installer will just flat out fail to recognize the system partition you create on the Windows 10 drive.- If you install Windows 10 to a Virtualbox within Linux, and you futz around with audio, chipset, OS type (and possibly other) settings, this could cause your Windows 10 Virtualbox install’s activation to fail… you’ll need to call Microsoft to reactivate your license key.- If you install Windows 10 to its own partition after it was installed in a Virtualbox, you’ll need to reactivate your key againNow to the Windows 10 review. The UI of Windows 8.x onward leaves something to be desired when compared to those of Win 7 and XP. Win 10 is definitely better than 8.x, but not as good as 7, but support for 7 will be pulled in a couple of years. You’ll need at least 4GB or RAM and install it to a partition 64GB or larger. Put it on a machine with a CPU that has a Passmark rating of at least 1500-2000 or better for satisfactory surfing performance.

I bought this along with parts for a computer. I downloaded Windows 10 to a flash drive using my old computer, and when my new one was ready I installed it and entered the code when that came up. No issues.Then I spent a couple days removing unnecessary features like Corona to make it feel more like a Windows 7.This code is for the operating system. Microsoft Office is not included. I got Libre Office to avoid paying another chunk of money. Windows 10 also doesn’t come with a media player, so I got the VLC media player for that.

But this OS is a great come back from Microsoft. 1 os compatible with any kind of device. Requires less hardware specifications compared to the previous generation. It smooth and has a lts of various features. Home edition is great for home use, which is daily use. Professional comes with some additional software’s, which an average user won’t use. The Windows app store is improving and is getting a lot of apps in the market. My niece and nephew is happy and download a lot of apps/games everyday. Most of the drivers are installed by default. The great part about this Windows is, that after 5+ years Microsoft has released a new version of DirectX, that is v12.0. Its best for games & media. More clarity and precise. The FarCry4 with default drivers was looking absolutely stunning on it, compared to 8. The new web browser gives a lot of option and the dual type start menu is also absolutely plus.Cons: Compared to Windows 8.1, the boot time is slow.Windows update is forced. So you will have to download updates eventually, even if you don’t want to (you can rollback and disable, but still have to download).Cortana doesn’t works in India (unless you change your location & regional settings to US).

I bought this from a person I know just a few months back .This OS is really good .Yes, MRP on product is 14999 and it is a great deal at 12950.You better get it .It is easy to install pendrive method and just plug your pendrive before staring your computer and use F10 key I think or whichever is for boot menu .Then select this pendrive and boot device.This will Boot to Windows 10 ,install it and you are ready to go. You will require an internet connection to register your product to the key you got at back of a hard card placed in that very well made children’s books like box.You have got yourself an original Windows OS which not many of us are used to and Microaoft doesn’t care .

vistaからバージョンアップというか、クリーンインストールしました。 かなり、時間がかかりましたが、何とかYouTubeなどを参考にして（DOSが古いのかメニューモードが全く違います。）四苦八苦して四時間でいれました。 つつがなく稼働してますが、唯一の問題点は、スタートから有料アプリを誘導してくる事てます、全て了解などにすると大変な事になります。 マイクロソフトの写真動画アプリは有料な上に、一度使用を許諾すると設定でシッカリとスタンドアローンにしておかないと、中の写真ファイルを勝手にネットにバラまきます！気をつけましょう。

I was able to download not just a .ISO file to burn to DVD but also a separate set of file for installation via USB drive.The Windows 10 install required me to reformat my drive to NTFS (because I was running Ubuntu) which I had to do separately first via the Ubuntu installation disc…the windows install won’t do it for you. But after that I used the USB install method and about 45 minutes later Windows 10 was finally installed. GAWD what an experience.As for Windows 10 itself – I have to admit…I like. I managed all the security settings so there is less spying on me and I find it quick and easy to use. I just wish this upgrade and install was as smooth.

古いＶｉｓｔａ機にセットアップしようとしましたが、認証コードの入力画面でフリーズ状態になり、コード入力すら出来ませんでした。何度やっても、同じ場所でフリーズします。返品したいと思いますが、たぶん受け付けてくれないでしょうね。その後、なんども再起動をしてやり直していたら、うまくすり抜けることができました。次に、PINコードの設定で同じようにフリーズするという状況に陥りましたが、やはり何度も再起動してやり直しているうちに、スルー出来て、今は問題なく作動しています。数日かかりましたが、認証コードもPINも後で設定するという選択で大丈夫でした。

Error message “The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key.” happens when installing from the included USB stick and using the code on the printed card.UPDATE: I completed the install by saying I didn’t have a product key. After installation I went to Update & Security, Activation, Change product key. This allowed me to successfully enter the supplied product key. It now shows Edition = Windows Pro Education, and Activation = Windows is activated with a digital licence.I have since wiped the system and reinstalled using a freshly made USB installation stick. The process was quicker (the USB stick being more up to date) but the result was the same, an Education version. If that’s what you want/are OK with, then this will do the job. I don’t know if the install hiccup is a product problem or a typical Microsoft annoyance, but it seems to be surmountable without having to phone Microsoft.

I suspect this will be ideal for a fresh machine build that has never seen Windows before.I tried upgrading a laptop that had win10 pre-installed.The code reported being invalid. According to Microsoft help, the code was invalid.However, the help should have just said that the code is invalid for upgrades…Since the win10home key is included within laptop bios, I had to add a PID.txt to the USB installer and do a clean install.This allowed win10pro to be installed and the key worked.Without the PID file, it would default to install win10home without any choice to correct.Room for improvement Microsoft.

This review is specifically for Windows 10 Download edition.Windows 10 is a wonderful OS. I think it’s the best Windows ever other than the data collection it does.However, I had a horrible experience purchasing the download edition. You are required to use Microsoft’s Win 10 Media Creation tool.I attempted to use this tool to generate installation media… on 4 different PCs. It failed on all 4 of them. I attempted to create both USB and .ISO media. I tried multiple USB stick. I contacted Microsoft support via web chat and asked for help and they tried to tell me my OS I was running the tool on was corrupted. They would charge me to assist even though this is the full retail version of Windows. Even when I asked them about the tool failing on multiple PCs, they said there was no alternative. They had no solution. I would have expected them to offer to send me a USB stick or something. Instead, they abruptly ended the chat! Horrible service.There are numerous reports across the internet about issues with the Media Creation tool. It’s not worth the trouble. If you can get physical media, I strongly suggest that. If you hit an issue, good luck getting service. keyforrest was great though. They did the right thing to remedy the situation.

Good product. I did not want an OEM copy of windows. That way, when I build another computer or upgrade mine, I can just re load my copy of windows 10 onto it, even if I get a new motherboard. There are small things I could sit and whine about in general about win10 since I am running it on 3 computers now, but this is a review for the specific copy I bought. Downloaded it, got the key, put my computer together and it all booted up and installed just fine.

Package came with a sticker containing the product serial number, and an USB drive having the Windows 10 setup pre-installed (32 or 64 bits). Since it’s not an default Microsoft package, you should perform a virus scan on a separate system, before proceeding with the setup.Serial number printed on the sticker had some small letters, which made identifying the serial number harder. After some fiddling, I was able to identify and input the right one.After the first system updates (upgrading to version1803 or newer), at some point the Activation status may be wrong (showing the system as unlicensed/not activated/with wrong serial number). After a reboot, the Activation status should be alright.Please note that this is an electronic OEM license, and you will probably have a little more trouble migrating it to a new hardware, as compared to a retail version (if possible altogether). For my case, it was a good enough solution, given the price difference, and the fact that I don’t plan migrating to a new system for years to come.

DSP版はパーツとセットで購入することにより、OSが安価になる仕組みです。だから、ソフトの内容は全く変わりません。こちらは、バッファローLANボードがついていますが、使わなくてもいいでしょう。万一、LANが壊れたときに、緊急用として使えるとは思いますが…OSは安く買おうと思えばいろいろと方法はありますが、中には怪しいものも多々あります。インストールできたはいいが、正規品ではないのでアップデートができないどころか、海賊版で一発アウトになる可能性もあります。なので、あまり安さにこだわらないほうがいいと思います。その中で、DSP版は正規に安価に買えるシステムなので、個人的にはお勧めです。レビューの中に海賊版らしきものを買わされたという書き込みもありますが、keyforrest以外の業者の場合、そういう可能性もあります。万一、被害にあった場合は、keyforrestに通告すればお金を払い戻ししてくれます。同時にそのような業者を排除することもできるので、泣き寝入りせず、申告していただければと思います。ちなみにwin8も所持していますが、正直、アップグレードにアップデートの連続で待ち時間が途方もないです。今回はwin10になってからの初購入なのですが、すぐにインストールできて満足しています。

Boot Camp を使って Mac に Windows をインストールしましたが、問題なく使用できました。USB版を購入しましたが、オンラインコード版でもよかったと思いました。理由は、ＵＳＢ版を購入しても、インストール用のディスクを作るか、又は、別のUSBフラッシュメモリーを作らないといけないからです。「Microsoft」より、OSをダウンロードしてもよかったなと。。。インストール用のディスク、USBフラッシュメモリーを作る理由としては、ディスクトップ上にＩＳＯファイル保存し、インストールしてみましたが上手く起動しませんでした。というよりは、起動までいきませんでした（笑アップルのカスターマーズセンターで聞いたところ、正規のインストール方法は、「Microsoft」より、OSをダウンロード⇒USBフラッシュメモリーにＩＳＯファイルを作成⇒インストールだそうです。※最終的に正規の方法で、インストールしました。インストール後、macでの使用レビューになりますが、Windows７以降使用したことがなかったでWindows１０は慣れるまで正直使いづらかったです。ですが、今では快適に使用できております。用途しては、mac ＯＳが対応していいないツールや、Office（仕事で使用する際に、macで作ったファイルを読み込めないことがあるため）の使用です。macにWindowsをインストールしようと思っているかたに、一つ注意があります。キーボードの配置ですが、変更できません！！これは、アップルサポートとMicrosoftサポートにて確認済みです。ですので、一例でいいますと、ｶﾅ変換のボタンがcapsボタンだったりします。ネットで検索すると変更するやり方などのっていますが、全然変更できません。なので、Windows 10を普段通りに使いたいと思っている方にはおススメしません。メイン mac⇒サブ Windowsであればおススメです＾＾

インテルNUCインストール用なのでLANアダプタが必要ないのとDSP版でUSBメモリという選択肢がなさそうなのとアマゾン販売だとHOMEに関しては値段も変わらないのでパッケージ版を購入。値段が安いなら外付けDVDドライブもあるのでDSP版でもよかったのだが。なお代引きでしか買わないのでオンラインコード版は買えない。 パッケージはオフィス2016と同じようなサイズでUSBメモリとテレホンカードサイズの紙にシリアルが書いてある。DSP版みたいにスクラッチになっていないので削りすぎてシリアルが削れることもない。USBメモリには32ビット版と64ビット版が入っているので最新版のインストールイメージを入れるのにも使える。ウインドウズのマークがあるのでインストールイメージ用にするには便利。ただし2018年12月現在だとバージョンが古く、付属のUSBメモリは使わなかったので容量は不明。８GBだとは思うのだが。インストールイメージ自体はHOMEもPROも同じでシリアルで識別しているようなので物理的に1つあれば事足りる。

I have been hesitant to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 for some time now. As an IT professional the going philosophy is to avoid like the plague ANYTHING version 1 from Microsoft. In essence this was a version 1 of Windows 10 back when first offered for free in 2016. Now, after a few years, Microsoft finally has Win 10 close to perfected. I held my nose and upgraded and haven’t been disappointed at all. This is now a GREAT product. It is still pretty snoopy but that can be fixed with several third party products.

Impossible to install if you don’t have windows 7 already. I have spent so many hours trying to figure out how to download the .iso file and then making a bootable dvd. Did all that and now the key I got is being rejected by Microsoft. Months later and I still haven’t been able to get this to work. They tell me I have to contact Microsoft now. But I didn’t buy it from Microsoft — unfortunately. I will never ever do this again.

Do not buy this if you want to Boot Camp your Mac, as it does not work with OS X.Buy the ISO directly from Microsoft.It is missing some files… it looks like it works, but it fails.Here is what happens:After you partition your drive, when you try and install Windows you get the message:”Windows cannot locate the disk and partition specified in the unattended answer file’s setting. Make sure the setting references a valid partition and restart the installation”After I got a new ISO direct from Microsoft, it installed properly.

It’s Windows10 Home. Not really much to say about it other than it works. What you’re buying is the key. You still have to download the software/ISO from the website and use the Microsoft USB/DVD Tool to make a boot disc.

前世紀の遺物となったレッツノートCF-R8 (Vista Business機)に入れました。直接インストールして途中でフリーズするとやっかいと考え、Win 8.1機でisoファイルをダウンロードしてDVD-Rに焼き付け、外付けDVDドライブからCF-R8にインストールしました。ここまで２時間弱で無事終了。互換性を考えて32bit版にしました。その後Office2007などの旧ソフトを再インストールしてほぼ元通りになりました。特にドライバは用意しませんでした。Vistaに比べると起動はかなり速く、シャットダウンは格段に速くなりました。手持ちのAtok 2010が機能しないのが残念です。大量の単語登録をしてきたのに。

Windows7のサポートが切れるギリギリで購入。古めのPCだったので無料期間のアップグレードは断念したのですが、2019may版では難なくアップグレードできました。起動中にUSBを刺しExplorerからsetupをダブルクリックするだけです。何度か再起動するようですが、その間PCに張り付いてる必要もなく、外出中の2時間で終了。あっけないほど簡単でした。Windows10は会社でも使っているので設定はそれほど難しいとは思いませんでした。諦めてたソフトも引き継げているし、セキュリティソフトの相性も良かったようで再インストールの必要はなかったでした。

After five hours of trying to install windows 10, Microsoft said I would need to do a clean install. The clean install would wipe out my MS Office Pro license and require that I purchase it AGAIN. Instead, I choose to get a refund for this crap program and will be looking for a Mac device that runs on a different OS. 普段はMacを使用していますが、会計業務だけWindowsを使いたかったため、Macbook Pro 2019（USキー）にBoot Camp経由でWindows 10を入れました。インストール自体はとても簡単でした。まずMicrosoftからWindows 10、64bit版をMac本体にダウンロード。次にBoot Campアシスタントを開き、言われるがままに進みます。パーテーションの切り方は悩みましたが、結局使ってみないと分からないですし、私はメイン業務がMacなので、512GBをMac399GB/Win100GBの割合で切りました。これが後々どうなるかは分かりませんし、人それぞれの割合があるかと思います。Windows 10の使用は初めてでしたが、躓いた箇所は英数/かなの入力切替くらいです。メールアドレス入力の時にかな入力から抜け出せず、ネット検索で調べて解決しました。Boot Campアシスタントにお任せしてほぼノンストレスで起動まで問題無く辿り着きました。Mac使用者にとっての一番の問題はMac/Win間のキー入力の差異だと思います。実用に際し、CommandキーとOptionキーの入れ替えや細かい設定が不可欠になります。ネットにも沢山記事があるので、そういった雑事に丁寧に対応出来れば問題無いかと思います。以上、簡単なインストールレポートでした。御参考になれば幸いです。

I have a new self built desktop with only a Bluetooth keyboard. Downloaded a USB image file from MS. I though I could get all the way thru the install so I could install the Bluetooth drivers. Wrong. MS provided a onscreen keyboard to enter the product code with a mouse – good. But then it wanted me to sign into a MS account. Needed a keyboard so I was out of luck. Borrowed a conventional keyboard. But then couldn’t retrieve my PW. Recovery options were limited – only offered a phone number I couldn’t use. Had to retrieve the PW from a backup. Would be nice if these steps could be bypassed until install finished.

You just have to be sure and set ALL of the privacy and tracking options to suit your personal needs and tastes. There are a lot of them. Win 10 is very, very invasive otherwise.I give it 9 1/2 out of 10; would be 10 if not for the privacy issues. I had a problem restoring my computer after the free windows 10 upgrade. I work at home doing medical transcription, so I couldn’t have a revolving restart of windows 10 recovery that didn’t do anything but keep restarting itself. I purchased windows 10 and restarted my computer with a fresh install of windows 10 64 bit and have been running smoothly ever since. (Back up all your files on an external hard drive before upgrading, so that you don’t lose everything.)

Windows 10 is pretty meh. I had a HUGE pain in the ass trying to install it. After a few days (ya rlly) I got it to work. It’s ok, and boots pretty quick, but that’s got a lot to do with y our hardware. I really only got it for DX12, if I didn’t need that for Star Citizen I would have stuck with Windows 7.

Usually when you boot the computer the very first screen shows the key to press to enter BiOS configuration (e.g. in my case I had to press F2 to enter BiOS configuration) As part of the installation process the computer will reboot. At this point make sure to remove the DVD/USB otherwise the installation process will begin again.Things are really straight forward if you are upgrading from a previous Windows Home version. You can simply insert the media and click on executable file name “setup.exe”. This will start the installation process.HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT KEYThe product key received with this purchase would be of 25 characters (combination of numbers and alphabets.) Soon after starting the installation, Windows 10 would show a screen asking for the product activation key. The received product key needs to be entered there. Windows will try to validate the key at this point. If it is not able to validate the key (in case Internet connection is not yet configured or not available), even then Windows will proceed and will get installed but will not be activated.When Windows 10 installation process asks for product key, you can also select the option “I don’t have a product key”. In this case also, Windows 10 will get installed as deactivated.If Windows 10 is deactivated then there are couple of features disabled (such as personalization features e.g. changing wallpaper, accent color) Also there will be watermark on the desktop saying that Windows 10 is not yet activated.You can still activate the Windows 10 by entering the product key in Settings > Update and Security > Activation screen.IS THIS COPY OF WINDOWS GENUINESeems like so. Other than the fact that it worked for me without any issues, Microsoft’s website also sells the download version for the same price. However, with keyforrest I can use the points and get points for the purchases, so it was a little cheaper by buying using keyforrest’s credit card. There are numerous other web-sites that sell the digital key for the Windows 10 for anywhere $15-$40. From different experiences posted online, it seems that getting those keys to work is simply a game of luck. Some of these keys are coming from people who are selling their key for cheap (because they got it for cheap from various discounts.) Some are straight-away scams. At-least this in one is genuine and I can get support if things don’t work.

I have worked with computers since I could walk so entering an activation key wasn’t a problem. The problem was that when it didn’t work, keyforrest’s representative told me in the most diplomatic way that it wasn’t their problem and I should ask Microsoft for help instead. The representative then asked if I needed assistance with anything else I told them no and ended the chat. I spent the next 2 hours with an amazing Microsoft rep who helped me out and fixed the problem. After that I received an email from the keyforrest Rep about something must have gone wrong with the chat box, nonsense mixed with copy and pasted keyforrest filler about striving to be the best customer service. Save yourself the time and buy this through Microsoft themselves, they will actually help and solve any problems with the product.

Microsoft said I needed this to install a new replacement SSD hard drive in my old Asus G73 computer. On paper, the G73 meets all Windows 10 requirements. When it wouldn’t load, Microsoft Support told me I had a hardware problem, not a Windows 10 problem. However, I later found out from Asus Support that the G73 is not compatible with Windows 10. So I’ve purchased a Windows 7 package from Asus to load into the machine. The Windows 10 package was a waste of money and time.

Windows 7 was my operating system of choice on my desktop computer. At age 81 it is difficult to learn a new, complex operating system. It was my fault my Windows 7 quit working right. I learn the hard way – and damaged the program. Discovered I had lost my Windows 7 disk. It took me more than one day to install Windows 10. So far I do not like it. However, it was an acceptable way to get Windows 10. But I would have preferred to buy it on a DVD disk. I recommend that anyone purchasing software this way copy and save all information provided by keyforrest and Microsoft, in this case, while buying and installing any software product. Some information would be lost when the page closes and might be hard to find again later. I had to use a very slow laptop computer to do the downloading.

Win10はリリース当時から早い段階で移行してそれからずっと使っています。いつでもOS初期化がディスクいらずでできるのはすごく便利です。7→10の移行を120GBで行いましたが、Cドライブ交換時にうまく移せなかったのでOSだけ買いなおしました。主にゲームや動画編集で使っていますが、特に問題もなく動作も安定していて好きです。動作の安定度などは無料アプデ版と変わらず、小さな違和感もありません。認証ができないというレビューを購入後に見かけましたが、特にそういうことはありませんでした。間違ったところから買わなければ恐らく失敗はしないと思いますが・・・。OSは時々買っていますが今のところ失敗した経験はありません。リリースからけっこう経っているので、これがいつまで使っていけるか、次の移行はいくらかかるのか、といったところが少々不安なところです。

I got his since it is an ISO image for installation. I installed it in a Virtual Machine on an Apple so I can use some Windows specific apps to run hardware. Works fine. It is NOT an OEM version which I wanted to avoid so I can reinstall it anyway if needed.The Virtual Machine is also cut off from the internet to avoid updates from Microsoft and exposure to the ills of the internet. I have had endless issues with monthly updates from Windows and this permits me to do that safely.

Downloader tool failed multiple times. Better to get a USB stick or DVD with Win 10. Was able to get it to work finally, with a different program, called Rufus. Better to just download an ISO, and then upload that to a DVD or USB.Windows 10 itself is fine and will eventually work.

I purchased this to upgrade from a Win 7 build and ran it. It failed because it had some kind of trouble with the recovery partition on the machine. I had to start from scratch. I don’t understand why we could upgrade from 7 and why it can’t now. 🙁

I had gotten a new 60GB hard drive for the download. The download and registration key work fine, however the Windows 10 Operation system will no longer let us use the WiFi internet. I have found this operating system fairly easy to use. I’ve been using 7 since it came out and was quite nervous about the change. I do find it more difficult to adjust settings than it had been on 7, but not impossible. Installing this on my system was more complicated than expected (my system issue not Windows), and I was surprised I had to reinstall my video card driver in order to get the screen to set up appropriately, but other than that the system is clean and user friendly.

Windows7のPCがクラッシュしたので、HDD換装とともにOSも新しくすることにしました。まずこの製品のUSBメモリをPCに挿してPCの電源をON。起動中にBIOSに入って、BOOTの項目でこのUSBメモリから起動するよう設定。起動すると、インストールが始まります。すでに動いているOSがある場合は設定を引き継ぐかどうか問われます。クリーンインストールの場合はHDDをフォーマットしてインストール。パーティションの変更などの操作も同時に行えます。他のPCで利用中のWindows8.1に設定しているMicrosoftアカウントを入力すると、自動的にいろんな設定が新しいPCに適用されます。Androidの端末にGoogleアカウントを設定するのと似た感じです。特に迷うことはなく、スムーズに新しい環境を構築できました。クリーンインストールを行う場合、いろいろ機器を接続しているなら、あらかじめドライバを準備しておきましょう。各種ソフトウェアのライセンスも。

問題なくインストールできましたが、これはあくまで新規インストール用であるので修復インストールをしようとしても起動できません。再インストールする場合は対象SSD(HDD)はクリーンな状態でないとインストールファイルは起動しないので一旦インストールしたならバックアップをして修復起動ディスク等を作っておく必要があります。多少の金額差なら正規版Windows10を購入したほうが良いと思いました。

Take it from an old computer tech support guy, follow the directions and make a physical and digital copy of your Windows product key, if you lose it, there is no recovery. Back to the directions, Microsoft does all the work for you. Click on the link in your email, put a 16GB or bigger USB flash drive in your computer (if your imaging a blank hard drive) or just run the Windows upgrade tool right on your desktop if your upgrading your current computer, Microsoft does the rest.

Windows 10 Professional on a 16GB USB stick.I bought this to install on a PC I’ve just built. Buying the USB version was a bit of an unnecessary luxury, but did reduce the hassle installing onto a machine without an optical drive. The install was remarkably quick, though at least in part that is due to fast components in the machine.As a games developer I needed Windows 10 to get access to DirectX 12 and I wanted the Professional version so that, among other things, I can have greater control over the installation of updates.The Windows 10 experience has been good, though I have discovered that the scanning software and driver for my Epson printer/scanner is incompatible with Windows 10 so I will not be doing the free upgrade on at least 1 of my other machines.Even if you don’t have an optical drive, most users would find that the premium for the USB version probably does not make sense given the price of cheap optical drives. If you are installing to a lot of machines then the USB option starts to make sense, though you will only need 1 USB and either multiple keys or a group licence.The Professional version adds features that are unlikely to be of significant use to home users.

I don’t normally use Windows, but I occasionally need it for work. I figured this would be the easiest way to get Windows since Win10 is actively supported and is the newest version (I have fairly new hardware, and it does matter).The install process was a major headache and required a lot of troubleshooting to install to a clean SSD. I tried a few different methods of writing the disk image to a flash drive, and in the end I needed to install Windows in a VM first in order to use Windows software to write the image (Wine didn’t work). I probably would have given up if a friend who had just gone through the same ordeal hadn’t been around to help.When the install finally worked, Win10 changed the BIOS settings so that I couldn’t access the boot menu or the BIOS menu, which is absolutely necessary for me since I am running a non-Windows OS on a second hard drive. I had to drill down through about seven layers of the Win10 settings menu in order to reboot to the BIOS menu and change the boot configuration. Having to turn off about fifteen switches in the install process so that all my data wasn’t sent to Microsoft wasn’t encouraging either.

This is a real copy of Windows 10 with it’s very own product key. You can use it to upgrade or as a clean install. In the interest of transparency I have to tell you that I am not a fan of Windows forced replacement of Operating systems. I would still have XP if Could.PROS: Full version, not the free starter. If you have a new system with the newer Intel or AMD processor or a newer better main-board you are going to get more out of them with Win 10. Many of the features that make these wicked fast are built to work with Win 10 and vice versa. This upgrade assimilated my old and flawed copy of Win 7 pro 64 without missing a beat. It took an hour. Everything was there and worked. It scanned the system and downloaded and installed all the drivers for my Win 7 programs. Have no fear. It was not difficult to figure out how to work with it. Things are similar enough once I found that the settings symbol got me the control panel.CONS: Microsoft does not provide nearly enough server bandwidth to download the file with Windows 10 in it. It took me from 9:00 pm Monday to 11:00 Tuesday to download it. That is normal. Sheer arrogant disregard for the captive consumer. You can also create a USB or DVD disc to ust to make a clean install on different PS, as in a new build. You need to be very observant when loading Win 10 because it had a huge amount of extra stuff that will be installed if you do not opt out. You are going to get Cortana weather you choose it or not. Many invasive programs are installed and are on by default. Sharing your information to all apps, the use of the microphone by apps and cortana,location, preference, delivery of ads to you are just a few. You may need to spend a day removing severe clutter in the menus caused by all of the games, apps and other things so that you can find the items you want. You will also spend a day making your personal data secure and stooping it from constantly popping things up on the screen. It will reverse some of those changes though.ALL things being equal I like the new technology provided that allows me to get the most out of my new. wicked fact components but I hate all of the invasive apps and the sharing of all of my information by default to all apps. These should be opt in things. The clutter on the start menu is annoying too. This is Elvis in Vegas.

Anytime one upgrades an OS you take great precautions. Part of that precautionary work is to research what other folks have documented. Luckily a number of folks provided great insight and how to approach. Ultimate I chose the “in Place” upgrade approach using MSFT utility the Media Creation Utility. That program pretty much walks you thru the Upgrade This PC process option. Took about 1.5 hrs to complete.Overall I still do not like Windows 10 – I think it is way too much fluff and Windows 7 Pro was much, much better. Too many screens to navigate through to get where you want to. Unnecessary junk in this OS. Not an intuitive UI. But we have no choice but to go with what the OS Gods demand we do.

インストール時３２ｂｉｔと６４ｂｉｔが選べて問題なくインストールできました。ＵＳＢソケットに挿入し初期画面から入っていくと３２ｂｉｔと６４ビットを選択する画面面が出るので選択して次に行くとインストールできます。気をつけないといけないのが最近のパソコン「Ｗｉｎ７」あたりからだと思うのですがハードディスクの記録方式がｗｉｎ１０に対応しているようですＸＰのパソコンにＷｉｎ１０をインストールしようとすると記録方式が違うと文句を言ってきて蹴られます初期の段階でマイクロソフトがｗｉｎ７以上でインストール可能と言っていたのはこのことだと思いました。

The download went very smoothly. I installed the Windows 10 installation files to a USB flash drive. The first 2 installations failed when nearly completed. Then I disconnected all peripherals (USB hub, Bluetooth dongle and USB reading light) from the HP laptop and tried the installation again and it worked perfectly. A little cleanup, reconnecting of peripherals and system check and all was up to speed. It took one evening and about a half hour the next morning to complete.

Everyone is clueless to it.I disabled Cortana yet she gets notified to me constantly and stll bugs me in search.Many issues with drivers. I disabled the automatic driver installation yet they still install without asking or anything. It installs drivers that mess up your computer. I don’t know where it finds the drivers because I download the newest ones from websites and they work fine, but Windows installs the same one (supposedly) and it crashes my PC!

オンラインコード版をiMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) のブートキャンプ用に購入。今のところ不具合なく動作してるようです。恥ずかしながらインストールではまってしまったので記録に残しておきます。・ディスクイメージをダウンロードする際、商品名に「April 2018」とあったので 同じバージョンが必要かと思いましたが「May 2019」で問題ありませんでした。 (2019年6月2日時点、ファイル名に1903が含まれているものでOKでした)・Late 2013では別途16GB以上のUSBフラッシュメモリ購入が必要かと思い焦り ましたが、USB接続の外付けHDDで問題なくインストールできました。 ※インストールでうまくいかなかったポイント プロダクトキー入力後、ブートキャンプ用の領域をフォーマットしてから 何度トライしてもインストールに進めなかったのですが、TimeMachine用に 接続していた別の外付けHDDを外してから実行したところすんなりいきました。すべてのレビューを読んでいないので類似の内容があるかもしれませんがご参考まで。

フラッシュメモリも外付けDVDドライブも接続しなくてよいモデルだったので、ライセンスコードのみの本製品は作業もスムースで問題なく出来ました。Macの128GBストレージモデルに64GBぐらいをWindowsに割り当ててインストールしました。OSの切り替えはどちらからの場合でも再起動中にoptionキー押してOSを選択というやり方ですね。

Win7からWin10へアブグレードしました。2～3時間かかるという話が多いですが、USB2.0からで1時間程度で完了できました。Win7からWin10に引き継ぐ形になるためプロダクトキーの入力はありませんでした。※Win10のUSB 青い部分はキャップではなくお尻部分です。⇒シール側が差し込み側Win10に対応していなと思われた昔の古いキャノンのスキャナーLiDE200などやアプリも全てそのまま移行できました。Win Liveメール2012も消えてしまうというとで、事前にOutlook2010にメール等データを移行しておきましたが、Win Liveメール2012はそのまま残り、普通に使用できています。PC環境による異なるのかもしれません。そのうち別のPCで使用しているメールソフトThunderbirdに入り替えた方が無難かもしれません。Office2010のサービス期限も間近であり、ワードやエクセルで使用しているため、いつか入れ替えるようです。ノートンも再度入れ替えることなく作動しています。自作PCでマザーボード ギガバイトGA-Z77-D3H CPU インテルi5 2500K(OC仕様) メモリ16G SSD125G HDD500G×2(アプリインストとバックアップ 用ディスク) 2TB×1 電源シルバーストーン750Wなどシステムも3世代の古いものですが、難くなく作動できました。※アップグレード前の注意 ギガバイトGA-Z77-D3HのOn OffチャージなどWin10では不具合の対象のようで先にアンインストールしておく必要があります。以前、無償配布時にZ68をWin7から10にアップグレードしましたが、こちらも1時間程度でアップグレードでき問題なく作動し続けています。7年間使用してきた古いPCの延命ができ、マザーボードなど不具合がでてくるまで使うつもりです。

すぐにwin10を他PCに乗せ変える予定だったので、載せ替え時に認証が簡単という噂を聞きDSP版ではなくパッケージ版をチョイスしましたが、結果として電話認証になりました。以前のwindowsはプロダクトキーベースのライセンス管理でしたが、デジタルライセンスとなり構成変更や再インストール時の認証は構成の同一性により判断されます。今回i7(2600)へ一度インストールした後、Ryzen5(2600)へ組み換えという名の新PCへ移行し、その際にクリーンインストールしました。が、基幹部品からほぼ全部交換しているため同一PCとは認められず、ネットワークでのライセンス認証は不可でした。流用部品はグラボ、ストレージ、マウスキーボードくらいでしたのでまあ当然かなと思います。ライセンス認証は自動応答ではなくオペレータとの会話となり、10分は掛からなかったくらいと思います。頻繁に組み換え載せ替えをする自作erはパッケージ版！という意見が見られますが、もう過去のものなのかもしれません。ちなみにライセンス認証の電話は祝日と年末年始休み、また時間は平日9時～18時土日10時～18時なので注意が必要です。

自作PCはWin7から無償アップデートで10をインストールしていました。先日、OSを入れたSSDがクラッシュしたため、新しいSSDにWin７認証後、Win10をインストールしました。私はWin7のIDが正規のものであれば問題なく10の認証もできると思いましたが、10の認証はできませんでした。結局一番安い本製品を購入。LANカードと共に注文翌日に届きました。プロダクトIDは、パッケージにあるスクラッチを削るとフォログラムに小さな文字で現れます。正直老眼には厳しい大きさです。本OSをインストール後は問題なく動いており、製品には満足しています。今回の件を教訓に、我が家の他の(10に無償アップデートした)PCのプロダクトIDを控えました。

いつも冷遇されているVistaから乗り換えました．Vistaと比べると悪いところがありませんが，細かい不満点を無理やり探しておきました．1つ目は，Windows Updateの関係かわかりませんが，深夜の2時頃に勝手にスリープから復帰していたことです．調べれば解決法が出てくるので，設定を変えれば解決できます．2つ目は，DVDではなくUSBメモリからインストールするのでBIOSが対応していなければ面倒です．これも調べれば解決できます．総評7と8は無料で10にできるのにVistaが対象外なのは到底許すことのできない仕打ちですが，OS自体の出来はいいと思います．でも比較対象がVista(32bit)なので，当てになるかはわかりません．

I have worked on it for several hours over 4 days and attempted to follow the Microsoft instructions. I assured I have ample system capacity and closed virus software. I never get to a point to actually insert the new product key. After spending about 45 minutes down loading, and updating, it starts the installation process for another 5 minutes then attempts to restart. I only get a message that “Windows Installation Failed”. I even tried using the key on the windows system on the computer but it would not take there. I also got a young college guy who is a computer science major at a local university and quite sharp to help me and he could not get it to load. I guess my next step is to try to get help via Microsoft……………ya’ll wish me luck with hat!!

I’m not sure why others are giving this purchase poor ratings. You are doing nothing more than buying the product key through this process in order to install a full version 64 bit Windows 10 operating system on either an existing PC or new build (as was my case). Once you purchase this product, the official MSFT key will be placed in your digital library on keyforrest. The instructions will also re-direct you to the MSFT Win 10 download site where you simply download the software. This is where you have the option of choosing to upgrade the OS on the system you are currently on, or create a USB/CD to use for a new build. It was painless process. I chose the USB creation option since I don’t use CDs on any new build of mine. Hope this sheds some light as to how easy it is to upgrade to Win 10.

Go on the Microsoft site, and the price is Rs.14,000.00, while the seller listed the price at Rs. 6,000.00 only. That means I got an eight thousand Rupee discount. I’m still not able to believe this. It’s genuine, not tampered with (the key is for ONE installation so while activating the product, it would have given me an error message, but the activation was simply hassle free. BUY ONLY LICENSED software, PIRACY is not only illegal, but depends on your Moral Values, which in this day and age, are totally missing.

For me, Windows 10 works great when it works. Unfortunately, every Windows 10 machine I own has had to be completely reset at some point for a variety of reasons ranging from driver issues to failed updates. On several machines, the dreaded “blue screen of death” has made a raging comeback (usually due to drivers – resolvable). I’ll credit Microsoft on the UI, as I prefer it to Windows 7 and older versions. It’s nicer to use on a tablet than 8.1 too, but still “quirky” in some areas on my HP Elitepad. Windows store is still painfully lagging behind Apple and Google app stores.

The process was easy and after download I created a boot thumb drive and had the PC up in fast and without any problems. I’m glad I switched to Windows 10. One of the apps I use regularly has a lot more features in Windows 10 I was pleasantly surprised!

We built this computer and downloaded Windows from the windows site. We needed to buy a key and activate the package so you can do all the fun customizations. This was a little cheaper so I bought it. I tried to just add the key – wouldn’t take it. So I followed the instructions – spent an hour reloading Windows and updating – and it won’t take the code. I followed their instructions to the Help section – I got to the point where they ‘let me submit feedback’ about this issue. For some reason I also can not contact keyforrest (they won’t allow it on this order!?!?!?!) – so I am out the money, except of a list of useless numbers and letters that won’t work.I wish I knew enough about computers to use Linux instead.

Ads appear in the start menu. Updates can’t be delayed for longer than a few hours before the OS will install the updates and reboot the machine. Privacy settings and ad settings get reverted when microsoft pushes an update. Contains a lot of bloat software. Pressing the “windows” key and typing the name of the program/file you wish to open usually doesn’t pull up the program/file you want , but instead will just show you advertisements. All these features help make Microsoft more money on a product they already charge their customers for. If at all possible, go with Ubuntu instead of Windows, even if you are considering transitioning from Windows 7 to 10, it will be an easier learning curve to learn Ubuntu than to have to relearn the new GUI for windows 10.Oh, and why is there a “settings” application AND control panel application?

Win10 DPS版、2015年以降2枚目を購入しました。新しいPCを組むと高額になるため、GIGABYTのB75マザーの新品が予備であったので、250G SSDのみ新調、他CPU i5 2500K、メモリ、HDD、GTX560Tiなど古いパーツで組み上げました。DVD ROMですが、インスト完了まで40分程度で完了しました。別のPCで使った2015年版よりアップグレードされているためか、インスト中の画面の違いがありましたが、簡単にインスト(UEFI設定で)できました。認証も、そのまま自動認証。B75マザーのWin10用チップセットなどをあて、以後、インテルから適合するチップセットにドライバーを更新など、できるものは最新の状態に・・・B75マザーはWin10保証対象外・・・でも問題なくスムーズに作動しています。ネット、office、写真など程度での使用なので必要十分です。

You get what you pay for. Windows 10 download. Not sure why people are complaining about problems with the download. If you do the steps correctly, the installation is perfectly fine. Just make sure you install it onto a a reliable flash drive when you’re ready to setup your new computer. And yes, you can redownload it from keyforrest. But certain components of it are so slow and laggy, that it really makes you start to question Microsoft’s abilities.I am using it on my Dell Inspiron N4010 laptop and have obtained it from an upgrade install. So here are the pros and the cons:PROS:1. Settings app: This is a lifesaver. The old control panel was hard to navigate through, and the settings app fixes that by organising all the settings2. Battery Saver mode: In Windows 7, my laptop had really bad battery life and the Windows 10 upgrade didn’t change much. But then I discovered the Battery Saver. When you really need to skimp on the amount of per your using, battery saver is a godsend.3. Faster boot times: Windows 10 speed up the time my machine too to bit by about 15-20 seconds…CONS:1. All the new-fangled Windows 10 apps: This is probably Windows 10’s biggest weakness. Ranging from Groove Music to the Microsoft Store to the Films & TV app, all are pieces of garbage…2. Pre installed bloatware: I got a mini heart attach when I saw Candy Crush Soda Saga and Drawboard PDF pre installed.. I’m like what the heck Microsoft, you don’t have any right to put things that users DON’T want on their computers. Luckily, you’re able to remove them.3. Microsoft Edge: Microsoft must have spent more money in advertising Edge than developing it. It is just as crappy as Internet Explorer 11. There are no improvements whatsoever.4. Poor driver compatability: My laptop USED to have Bluetooth in Windows 7. After several attempts to load this software on our ASUS laptop computer, I went to the “Geek Squad” at Best Buy and they could not load it either. They got farther than I did in the process, but they reached the part in the load process where you put in the product key and the product key is incorrect and will not allow loading–the product key was printed directly from the keyforrest download software library, it was notv possible for me to use wrong digits. So the product was defective. I took the laptop to an independent computer repair service and the software itself is not necessary. If you have Windows 8 there is an embedded script that allows you to download Windows 10, so I wasted over $100–it was a worthless purchase and keyforrest will not exchange according to their policy.

I spent a lot of time trying to find a work around for this. But my admittedly OLD MSI motherboard will not recognize this ISO (either as a DVD or as a USB). And somehow, during this process, I obliterated my existing operating system. So, now I am in a jam with a non-refundable version of Windows 10 and a non-working desk-top. Believe me, I spent a lot of time trying to recreate options I read about on the internet. This apparently is a known problem with the older MSI MBs. I know Microsoft can’t be responsible for everyones problems. NTLS, this leaves me very unhappy – largely because of the huge amount of time wasted.

As others have said, this is NOT a copy for activating an already existing copy of Windows 10. If you have a copy of Windows 10 that is UNactivated (in other words, you have a watermark telling you to “Activate Windows”), you will need to do a clean install with the key provided from this product. You are essentially installing Windows 10 brand new. If you do not back up your files, they will be lost. If you just try to enter the key provided in hopes of ‘activating’ it without doing a clean install, you will fail. You MUST do a clean install. The product page is as best misleading, especially since there is no easy way to refund this after purchasing. See other reviewers for more details on clean install, or just look it up online. This is only good for completely new installation (say, on a computer you built yourself) or clean install (which is effectively a completely new installation).

初めてディスクではない Windowsを購入しました。正直データのコードと紙だけというのは怖かったです。値段と場所を取らないことを理由に買ってみました。やってみたら実に簡単♪マイクロソフトのサイトでISOをダウンロード。これだけがディスクと違う部分。あとはこれを使って、いつもの出る手順に従ってインストールディスクと変わらずに終了。簡単でした。一応認証とかの確認方法も教えてくれているので、確認しました。無事正規の認証されてました。マイクロソフトはどうやらwindows10でリリースは最後にして、アップデートとかで今後対応するみたいですね。人によってはコードの数もいると思うので、そういう人はこれはお得かもしれません。ISOはディスクの内容だけのデータみたいなのなんで、USBとかに入れておけばディスクよりかさばらない。あまりOSのディスクを持ち歩く人はいないでしょうが、保管にはスペース取らないです。オススメです！

USBの扱い方が分からないなど不具合のレポートがありましたが、意味がわかりません。見れば簡単にアップデートできます。ただアップデートのファイルの読み込み等には時間がかかりました。Windows7 Professional から Windows10 Home にアップデートしたので、当然 Windows10 Home になるのかと思いましたら、Windows10 pro になりました。このような仕様なんでしょうね! このアップデート再にパソコンのレジストリの整理・修正、デフラグ、不要ファイルの整理、不用プログラムの整理、ショートカットの修正、ウイルスやスパムのチェック駆除等を１～２日かけて行い、インストールしましたら、Windows7 の時よりパソコンが見違えるように快適に動くようになりました。マシンは、第三世代Core i5 ノートパソコンです。インストールの再にメッセージが２点出ました。「インストールされているATOKが適合していない」「Google日本語が適合していない」など。Microsoft EdgeではATOKが使用できないようです。それ以外では使用できます。Google クロームが動かなくなりましたので、google日本語と伴に再度インストールしたら使用出来るようになりました。以前はマウスの動きも悪かったのですが、アップデートしたらこの不具合も解消されました。もっと早くアップデートすれば良かったと思いました。

What surprised me is that this is actually a small USB drive. Its great that they’re moving away from CDs/DVDs and more companies should do this. 現在、MacBook Pro (Retina 15-inch Late 2013) を利用しています。Bootcampでは、同時に使えないので、VMWARE の Fusion 8.5 をインストールして、Windows 10を導入しました。あるやり方をすると、USBから直接Windowsをインストールできる方法が書かれていましたので、試したところうまくいきませんでした。仕方なく、別途Windows10は、isoファイルをダウンロードしました。プロダクトキーの承認も問題なく、見事にWindows10を利用できています。また、Fusion 8.5を使っている場合は、Windows10側にVMware Toolsをインストールすると、劇的に、MacOSとWindows10が融合された様に利用できます。

Luckily there are sites to help guide the removal of the forced crap but for people who are not comfortable change settings using the power shell tool your stuck with all the useless crap. Too bad the is no way to remove Cortina, however you can minimize it by removing most permissions.Then when Windows updates (which you can’t prevent) frequently they undo what you changed and have to do it all over again.

Win7のサポート終了が近づいてきたので購入しました。「April 2018 Update」より数百円高いですが、作業時間の短縮を期待して「May 2019 Update」を選択しています。今回は過去にWin10無償アップグレードに失敗（後述）したWin7 Proのパソコンをアップグレードしましたが、問題なくWin10 Proになりました。(Homeになると思ってた)私の場合は以下のような手順になりました。 [事前準備]① 何かあったとき用にリカバリメディア作成② 大事なデータを退避して空き容量確保（20GB以上）[アップグレード作業]③ Win7を起動した状態で同梱されているUSBメモリをパソコンに指す④ USBの中のsetup.exeをダブルクリック⑤ 画面に従ってアップグレードを開始 ※更新プログラムは推奨の「ダウンロードする」 ※引き継ぐ項目は変更せず「個人用ファイルとアプリを引き継ぐ」 ※ライセンスキーは特に聞かれませんでした⑥ Win10の設定画面が出てくるまで放置⑦ 画面に従って初期設定をすればアップグレード終了[事後作業]⑧ Windows Updateを実行して最新化⑨ セキュリティソフト(カスペルスキー)が起動しなくなったので再インストールなお、アップグレード後にはWin7のデータ（C:Windows.old）が残ります。このデータは30日経過したら自動で削除されるそうですが、私のパソコンは容量がカツカツだったので一通りの動作確認を終えたあとに手動削除しました。（削除すると元のバージョンに戻せなくなるので、不安なら手動削除はしないほうが良いです）※Windows.oldの手動削除方法[設定]->[システム]->[ストレージ]->[ストレージセンサーを構成するか、今すぐ実行する]->「以前のバージョンのWindowsを削除する」にチェックをしてクリーンアップを実行。※追記（Win10無償アップグレード失敗について）PCは「VAIO VJP1321GCA1B」で、Win8.1ProからWin7Proにダウングレードしたモデルです。失敗時のメッセージを見る限りでは、（恐らく）「動作しているWin7」と「登録されているWin8.1のライセンスキー」の組み合わせでライセンス認証が通らずに無償UGが失敗したようです。先にWin7からWin8.1にアップグレードしてからWin10無償UGをすればライセンス認証が通ると思われますが、Win8.1へのアップグレードも失敗したのであきらめてパッケージを購入する流れになりました。

7の32bitからの変更です。10の32bitは問題なくUPできましたが、64に切り替えが難しく、「F12」で何とか変更できました。2017年版ですが、アップデートもできるので問題なしです。

After you install, be sure to Google “Windows 10 Creators Update” to install the latest “service pack.” If you are a gamer, be sure to check out the new gaming mode….basically, it suspends background apps and such that may affect frame rates. I did not know that downloading Windows 10 onto the USB Drive will erase all the other data on that USB drive. I’m not sure if I can recover that data, and it’s really annoying. If there’s a warning about this problem, then I’m wrong. But I’m usually pretty good about not deleting all my important documents.

I went from needing a key, to having a entered a key in less than a minute. The key was delivered instantly and worked perfectly. My school’s “Free Windows 10 Education” key didn’t work, because I’m assuming it must mean an upgrade from other Windows 10 editions to Windows 10 Education. This meant I built a computer and all I needed was to enter a key quickly to be able complete my setup. I didn’t want to have to wait for delivery or go to a store.This isn’t a review of Windows 10. It’s Windows. I would have been fine staying with 7, but I haven’t had any issues with 10. I don’t really know enough about the newest version, but make sure to look up information online about how to set your privacy settings.

Not a retail key and doesn’t mention anything about being an OEM key. I used the key to install windows but it wouldn’t recognize the key once it was installed to activate windows. It kept saying that it had already been used on another device which is strange since it was the first time I used it. A long wait on the phone with the windows activation key revealed the code was a “windows 10 downgrade key” which seems unlikely based on the symptoms and the windows guy was probably inept. Either way it was useless and I had to send it back for a refund which hasn’t been processed yet. I would avoid this at all costs.

It is awkward downloading and burning the image to a DVD. After approximately 3 hours of delay, I finally had a bootable DVD to install Windows 10. I would not have been able to do this if I did not have a 2nd pc operational to get the download and create the DVD.

product worked fine. I was too impatient to wait on the company flash drive and decided to download the software directly from Microsoft. The problem arose when I tried to unpack the ISO file to create the flash drive on my own. Not keyforrests fault. but rather 8 gigs of memory are required to unpack and load your flash drive. easy if you have a computer or large drive on your lap top. Not so easy if you have a cheap lap top design to do most its work on the internet.

This is an original windows pack so nothing to review about this…..the only thing to say is regarding features compared with professional version….unlike professional version here is no control of user over update and download from windows store…..elaborating….in case of professional I pressed the update/download button and download started instantly….and I could see the time left to complete it….but in home version there is no guarantee to instant download…..it took me more than one month to complete update of windows 10…..I faced the same problem even downloading free application from the store……though Home version is much more cheaper than the Professional one attaching such disability is not a good thing…I think……

You have to have windows 10 and this was a great way to get it. keyforrest provides the CD key for you so you will never lose it. It is Always in your Account info as long as keyforrest will be around… so at least until the Zombie Apocalypse starts.

パッケージ版はDISCではなくUSBでした。ライセンスも当たり前ですが一発認証でした。もともとＤＳＰ版のOSを使っていたのでこの度パーツを一式交換するためライセンスが取れなくなるため購入しました。他に格安で中古ＰＣから取り除いたライセンスキー等を売っている商品がありますが、あれはライセンスが取れなくなったりもし取れたとしても元々の製品以外にインストールするのは不正行為になるので注意してください。

The installation procedure was dummy proof. After purchasing the download I clicked the appropriate thumbnails in the digital orders page on the keyforrest site. I was linked to the Microsoft site and followed the few instructions they had and the download- install- update procedure began. After 1-1/2 hours everything was up and running. My stored pictures, movie and music files were intact though I had to use a different route to get to those than with windows 7. Windows 10 will take some getting used to if you’ve upgraded because of the Windows 7 expiration. Just play around with it and you should become comfortable with the new system.

I upgraded my supposedly incompatible Alienware m14x r2 with this. Windows runs smoothly, I assume some features are not, but I have not noticed anything malfunctioning. Possibly, the app store, though it still loads fast and downloads very fast when downloading and installing. I am still able to use my 10 year old Alienware with this product. Games that don’t support windows 7 I can now play.

Using a second Windows PC, I was able to get a download onto a USB thumb drive I had laying around, and I got it on my other computer relatively quickly.
